⁶¹⁹ Castor of Rhodes composed a 6-book chronology of world history in the 1^st century BCE ( FGH 250); Josephus refers to him later (2.84) as temporum conscriptor, and on both occasions assumes he is well-known. The cross-reference indicates agreement among Greek historians (despite 1.15-27).
